People who print
DAZ 3D software has been an affordable and easy way for people to begin exploring 3D models and creating beautiful scenes quickly. Now, DAZ is offering a way to get 3D characters from your screen to your hand. 3D prints of models built within the Genesis 2 system are supported. Printed people (and a dragon) for people who print.
Genesis models are meshes created specifically for the DAZ platform, so you?ll get much more editing potential when using them in DAZ Studio.
Genesis 2 models continue to build on that technology, allowing for morphing, facial expression, smoother curves and subdivisions, and more.
Currently there are only 4 models available, but DAZ indicates that there will be a way for you to upload and print any of your DAZ Studio models.
DAZ 3D character models are built on the Genesis 2 figure platform. This means you can morph realistic characters into a limitless array of shapes. It means you can prep, pose, and animate any of them. With this state-of-the-art technology, it also means that all Genesis 2 characters are 3D print- ready. Envision it. Create it. Own it.
A very limited library is a start, but you may want to check out the software and a few models yourself so you can gear up for an opportunity to create your own custom prints once DAZ supports it.
