Couple Launches #1 Ranked Video Podcast in iTunes(September 01, 2014)
Jackson, MS, September 01, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Married for the past 29 years and the parents of four children, former college football All American and Certified Marriage Intensive Coach Jim and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Teresa Adams are the co-founder of The Family Matters First Podcast, a five day a week show available as a Free down load in the iTunes library.
The show is dedicated to building Righteous Relationships, Mighty Marriages, Fantastic Families, and Prepared Parents. The show launched in August has become the #1 ranked show in the Kids & Family category Video Podcast category.
There are over 250,000 podcasts in iTunes and collectively there are over 1 Billion subscribers to those shows.
The Adams offer advice on everything marriage and family related from resolving conflict, effective communications, sex, parenting, and so much more.
The couple shares from their personal experience -almost three decades of marriage, their professional training (Teresa holds a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy) and practical truths.
The show is designed to be educational, entertaining, encouraging, and inspiring to the listening audience which ranges from dating and engaged couples to couples contemplating divorce all the way to happily married.
According to a 2013 USA today article, podcasting has the potential to chip away at the traditional radio market. The popular use of smartphones combined with the fact that many car manufacturers are adding podcast apps like Stitcher Radio to 2015 models, this may be the listening wave of the future.
