When we first opened our Sparks theater, we knew there was a need for this type of festival in the market, when we heard about the Reno Tahoe International Film Festival, we reached out immediately to show our support, Rafe Cohen, President of Galaxy Theatres said on Wednesday. At Galaxy Theatres we are all movie buffs, if there is something we can do to help the local film communities we do business in, we are happy to do so. As part of their sponsorship, Sparks Galaxy theatre will have the privilege of screening the Best Film of the Festival selected by the Jury on the closing night of the film festival.

We are happy a niche is being filled with the Reno Tahoe International Film Festival, and are elated that Sparks Galaxy Theatre is a major sponsor of the event. says Dennis McGovern, General Manger of the Legends at Sparks Marina.
