From Bootstrap to Big Screen: The Entrepreneurs of Invidy are Aiming to Make a Huge Impact

(PRWEB) March 24, 2014

About 3 months ago, interactive video platform Invidy launched its stealth beta, a launch many tenured founders would have deemed to be too soon. But the founders wanted to show their innovated idea to the world sooner rather than later.

Invidy enables viewers to learn more about products, people, places, and information within video content by simply scrolling their mouse over a playing video. Viewers click on the product, and can buy it on the spot. Its what some consider to be the future of video.

I essentially slept in a closet in a not-so-great part of LA so I could afford to house our dev team, led by Suraj Narayana, explains CEO and founder Justin DAmbra. My partner Val went from having no fashion sense to becoming the creative vision that helped spawn a V2 of Invidy.

Despite its rocky beginnings, DAmbra encouraged his fellow founders Valentine Gasparyan and Trevor Larson to buy into the iterative process of bootstrapped product development and its now paying off as they ramp up their V2 launch and it seems a deal is in the works between this young tech start-up and Envision Entertainment.

Envision has earned a reputation as one of the fastest growing Indy feature film production companies, having financed 2 Guns, Escape Plan, and recent box office hit Lone Survivor, grossing over 110M at the box office so far. With an exciting 7-picture slate unveiling in 2014, now may be the right time for them to consider investing in innovation.

Were not the typical overcapitalized start up -- having self-confidence and a team that buys into the vision doesnt require us to be. We create, learn and iterate; amidst doing so, we stumbled upon a great opportunity with Envision Entertainment, explains DAmbra.

Envison has been looking to expand its digital media presence. With Invidys tools and platform Envision will be able to distribute creative content with real-time ROI metrics, Gasparyan states.

DAmbra and Gasparyan met at the University of Southern Californias Lloyd Greiff School of Entrepreneurial Studies where they graduated in 2012. It was here, where Invidy was conceptualized. Gasparyans level-headed creativity coupled with DAmbras intensity and charisma, proves them to be a great team.

We always knew we were going to do business together, but to have our first successful exit possibly be with the production company behind Lone Survivorwe would have never imagined. We are excited to see where this takes us, the two shared.
Invidys site has gone back into stealth mode while they continue to seek out talent for their V2, but they encourage all current and future users to stay tuned for product and company updates.

They encourage users and those interested to reach out to them via email at Justin(at)invidy(dot)com.
