Sycamore Entertainment Opens "The Eye of the Storm" in Theatres September 7th 2012

HOLLYWOOD, Calif., Sept. 7, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Sycamore Entertainment Group, Inc. (SEGI) is pleased to announce the release of the film "The Eye of the Storm" in theaters starting today.

Sycamore is releasing the film using the "Day-and-date, Video on Demand (V.O.D)" release strategy and will be available simultaneously in theaters in New York, Los Angeles and Florida on September 7^th 2012 as well as on V.O.D, nationwide utilizing V.O.D. partners Warner Bros. Digital Distribution.

"The Eye of the Storm" premiered in New York City on Sept 4, 2012 at the Museum of Modern Art. Among other influential industry veterans attending the red carpet to celebrate the premier with the Sycamore Group were Geoffrey Rush, Alexandra Schepisi, Bob Simon, Fred Schepisi, Judy Morris, Jane Melelaus, John Guare, Julie Taymore, Mary Schepisi, Philip Scanlan and Meryl Streep.

"The Eye of the Storm" was also featured this week at "Reel Pieces" which is the 92Y's signature movie series, with over 25 years of bringing this audience the best in film. Annette Insdorf previewed the film and featured the cast at her famous in-depth Q&A sessions.
