Mike Birbiglias My Girlfriends Boyfriend tour is hitting the road in 2012. The hilarious Birbiglia brings his one-man show chronicling his romantic past, sure to include awkwardness and references to making out looking like dogs eating spaghetti. Lucky for Santa Fe visitors and locals and the 2012 Santa Fe Reporter Arts Festival, Birbigilias tour is making a stop at the Lensic, Santa Fes Performing Arts Center at 8 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2012. This event, which is part of the 2012 Santa Fe Reporter Arts Festival, is featured on SantaFe.com, Santa Fe, New Mexicos premier on-line visitor guide.

The Massachusetts-born Birbiglia is a frequent contributor to NPRs This American Life and the nationally syndicated radio program, The Bob & Tom Show. He has had three Comedy Central Presents specials, and appeared on Conan OBrien, David Lettermen, Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon.

Audiences lauded Birbiglias off Broadway show Sleepwalk With Me. The film adaption was recently accepted into the 2012 Sundance film festival. The movie stars Lauren Ambrose (from Six Feet Under fame), Carol Kane and James Rebhorn.
