Author Solutions, Inc.(ASI), the world leader in indie book publishing, today announced it will be the lead sponsor of the 2012 San Francisco Writers Conference (SFWC) at the Mark Hopkins Hotel in downtown San Francisco on February 1619. The four-day conference is packed with educational seminars and speeches from industry leaders and provides a forum for authors to share their ideas, develop their writing skills, and learn the fundamentals of pitching their books to literary agents and publishers.
For the second year in a row, SFWC and ASI have teamed up to offer the 2nd Annual Indie Publishing Contest, where winners will receive a free book publishing package from one of ASIs leading self-publishing imprints, which include: AuthorHouse, iUniverse, Abbott Press, WestBow Press, Inspiring Voices, Balboa Press, Xlibris, Trafford Publishing and Palibrio. Also, ASI will sponsor the Opening Gala ceremony the evening of February 16, where authors will have the opportunity to meet fellow attendees, including notable published authors, screenwriters, film producers, and representatives from leading literary agencies and publishing companies.
